hahaha. I wish it were a 10ft radius. that sounds like improvement.

but I refuse to reduce my hearing, it's my main way of navigating the world without eyesight.

That's valid, I just don't like getting overwhelmed from input. They're a brain saver for me in really crowded situations.

I spent years learning that control. my uncles put me in martial arts and yoga and meditation and anything else that could think of because back then no one had any clue

I basically just end up on constant HIGH THREAT alert because my spidey sense goes haywire if I don't have the filters in while I'm in busy places.

I get migraines and panic attacks. not so much now, but when I was younger it was a lot. I've gotten used to a lot though since then and I more understand what I'm sensing, which makes a huge difference. I don't have any spidey senses though. it can still be overwhelming sometimes though.

Ew dude I would not wish migraines on anyone. Mom had them and they were wretched. I'm glad understanding what you're sensing helped out though.

migraines suck. they're pretty rare now, though I'm sure I just cursed myself.
